Karaoke for 10 to 20 people in District 1: which room, and what it costs

Up to 8 guests: a VIP room at 890,000₫ an hour. There are seven of them besides 601.

10–12 guests: room 601, the largest of the VIP tier, at 990,000₫ an hour. There is only one, so book it ahead for a weekend.

13–20 guests: VVIP room 602 at 1,450,000₫ an hour, our biggest, with space for 20 guests and 20 hostesses. Also the only one of its kind; same-day bookings rarely work.

Counting the usual set-up, one hostess per guest, with the 10% booking discount, VAT and all tips included:

Room 601, 10 guests + 10 hostesses, 3 hours: 29,632,840₫, about 2,960,000₫ per guest.
Room 602, 20 guests + 20 hostesses, 3 hours: 51,846,200₫, about 2,590,000₫ per guest.

Drinks are counted at 500,000₫ a head for guests and hostesses together; food and fruit for a big table run about 5,000,000₫ for ten and 6,000,000₫ for twenty. Of the totals, the tips (11,500,000₫ for 601, 21,500,000₫ for 602) are paid in cash, and the rest (18,132,840₫ and 30,346,200₫) can go on a red (VAT) invoice.

Each hostess fewer than the number of guests takes off roughly 1,495,000₫ (her 1,000,000₫ tip plus her drinks). For other group sizes or durations, the booking calculator works it out.

Sixteen people could split across two VIP rooms. But the 500,000₫ service charge and the 1,500,000₫ madam-and-waiter tip are charged per room, so two rooms pay both twice, and two VIP rooms cost 1,780,000₫ an hour against 1,450,000₫ for 602.

A team night also works better in one room. If 602 is free on your date, it is the cheaper and better option.

The number of people, the arrival time and, if you can, a budget. Drinks and food vary a lot for big groups; with a budget the manager plans inside it.

Birthday or celebration: we arrange a cake and set-up with at least a day's notice.

Company expenses: we issue red (VAT) invoices. Send the company name, address and tax code (MST) with the booking. Tips are never on the invoice and are paid in cash.

We open at 14:30 every day, so an afternoon start before dinner is possible.

We are a local Vietnamese venue. Bookings are handled by message in English, Korean, Chinese or Vietnamese (WhatsApp or Zalo 0387 241 967); in the room, English works best.
